SBCC Training for NGOs in Kenya Strengthens Capacity

C-Change conducted Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) capacity strengthening training in Kisumu and Nakuru, Kenya during November and December 2009 with three partner organizations--Merlin, PATH, and World Vision, which are funded by USAID through C-Change. 

The training focused on designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating effective SBCC programs. C-Change also helped the participants to develop SBCC strategies and monitoring and evaluation plans for their activities. The 23 participants will use this training to guide their organization’s efforts to carry out malaria prevention and control activities in Kenya's Western and Nyanza provinces.
